The Camrose Spirals Jump Rope Club are taking registration for their fall/winter recreational and competitive programs. If you would like to join, sign up at the Community Registration Night on September 1st at the Camrose Field House or September 14th from 7pm until 9pm at the Camrose Fire Hall.
The Annual Camrose Walk to Cure Diabetes will be held on Saturday, September 11th at Mirror Lake. Registration is at noon with the walk starting at 1:30pm. The Creative Arts Summer Program is back for another season at the Chuck MacLean Arts Centre, 4809-52 Street. This years program will run Monday to Friday from 9am until 4pm July 5th through August 27. There will be a variety of activities for children ages 6 to 12. The Camrose and Area Adult Learning Council will hosting an Learn English as a Second Language Course in the Camrose Adult Learning Council Boardroom from September 23rd until November 18th. The Camorse Mirror Lake Express is up and running again this summer. The train will be running from 5:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday night until the end of August. If you think you may need to go to the Emergency Room at St. Mary's Hospital...but aren't sure, you can call Healthlink Alberta at 1-866-408-LINK and they will help you decide. Another alternative to the ER is to visit the Walk-in clinic at 4825-51st, Camrose. Clinic hours are Monday to Thursday from 2-8pm.
