Camrose Beach Volleyball are hosting an "End of Summer Fun Mixed 4 on 4 Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, August 26th with proceeds being donated to The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. The cost is $100 per team. Contact Jason at 780-226-9697 or visit camrosevolleyball.ca.
Parents for Fun in Flagstaff are hosting the 8th Annual Movie in the Park at Killam Heritage Park on Tuesday, August 22nd. The event will get underway at 5:30pm with bouncy castles, a BBQ, games, face painting and a petting zoo followed by a showing of Moana at dusk.
The Camrose Aquatic Centre is hosting a Soak the Lifeguard Public Swim on Friday, August 25th from 1pm until 4pm. Please bring your own water guns.
The Camrose Boys and Girls Club are hosting the annual Gary Brown Golf and Giggles Tournament on Saturday, September 16th at the Whistle Stop Golf Course. Registration is at noon, with a shotgun start at 1pm. The tournament will feature plenty of fun holes along with a Kubie Corner, Hole-In-One competitions and a steak dinner. Sacred Arts is offering Yoga in the Park on Friday's throughout the summer. Sessions will run from noon until 1pm and admittance is by donation to the Camrose Women's Shelter. The Book Bike will also be present during the sessions.
The Camrose and District Centennial Museum will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary on Saturday, August 19th. There will be live preformances starting at 10am along with Blacksmithing, Quilting and Spinning Wheel demonstrations. The day will also feature games, penny candy, birthday cake and much more!
On Wednesday, August 30th the Camrose Centennial Museum, in conjunction with Crafty Crafters, will be hosting a Family Craft Night. Try your hand at crocheting, knitting, pom-pom making and yarn winding. The Family Craft Night will begin at 7pm.
Donalda will be holding a Drive-In Movie on Friday, August 25th at Willow Canyon (Formerly the Donalda Ski Hill). Catch Pixels on the big screen at dusk with old fashioned popcorn, hot dogs and drinks. Gates open at 7pm.
The 4th Annual Remax Children's Miracle Network Charity Golf Tournament is happening Friday, August 18th at Coal Creek Golf Resort. Registration takes place at 11:30am with a shotgun start at 1pm and a dinner to follow. To register a team, call 672-7474.
